N.O.R.E. Wants to Get Montreal Rapper KGOON Signed!

This is what dreams are made of. Rapper KGOON was one of the opening acts for N.O.R.E.’s show in Montréal on May 17th 2016. N.O.R.E. heard about KGOON’s outstanding performance and decided to bring him on stage during HIS set to perform his hit single 100 Bandz, 6 TIMES, back to back! After seeing his energy & the crowd’s insane reaction, N.O.R.E. promised to get the kid a record deal!

“Let’s be clear I’mma bring this n*gga to America and make this n*gga a star. There be artists that come out here & they don’t show love to your local talent and we gotta stop that! They told me something about some kid names KGOON. I said tell that n*gga to come back out on stage with me, I want him to do that hit single.

The one thing I never did in my career was take somebody from Montréal and make them a star in the world. I’m bringing a badmon ‘pon America. I had no idea the new artist I was gonna wanna put on is from Montréal until 10 minutes ago, he played me this song in the back, I liked his look, I liked his energy, but I said listen I wanna see how you do on stage and tonight you motherf*ckers got that motherf*cker signed.

Y’all witnessed history tonight, I did not come here planing on doing this, but i came here planning on showing the people of Montréal that I love y’all, but now I’mma show y’all even more, because I’mma really take this guy and bring him into Def Jam or Interscope. I love y’all Montréal.”
