Island Boy Cartel (IBC) is a new super group consisting of Kardinal Offishall of Toronto, Mr. Ol Time Killing, Planet IV, Benny Demus (Akon’s DJ) and Verse Simmonds. There’s usually a lack of powerful, relevant, meaningful music you can have as your anthem during Black History Month (or throughout the year for that matter). Cue IBC’s “Black History Month” and let it play. This new group fits very well together and each artists have their own style that blends perfectly together to make the right track.
