The Brothers Grim latest single off the MFTW (Motherfuck The World) mixtape is on fire! Unleash The Dragon ft Neph has the Brothers Grim & Neph trading vicious bars over a haunting violin with production and DJ cuts by Nato that set this above the average underground Hip Hop track.
The music video directed by GVTV features the rappers spitting fire into the camera, both figuratively and literally as two fire performance artists work their magic in the background. Also unfolding is a coven of Witches casting spells from the ‘Unleash The Dragon’ spell-book with a dramatic transformation towards the end of the video.
The Brothers Grim are preparing for a cross Canada tour in May with Adlib & Alpha Omega. The brothers toured the summer of 2013 with Madchild (Swollen Members) and in 2014 filmed an episode for the Secret Setlist TV show (now playing on Telus Optik) and won an Edmonton Music Award for best Rap Recording. Neph has emerged as a rising star in the Vancouver hip-hop scene, after dropping his critically acclaimed EP “The Black Box” to rave reviews. He followed that up with the formation of Alpha Omega along side Van City veteran Prevail (Swollen Members). The duo released The Concept EP in 2015 and are following it up in 2016 with The Strain EP.
