Buck N’ Nice consists of 2 artists, SawBuck and DJ So Nice who are both based out of Ottawa. So Strong for So Long sounds like a pretty standard break up song until you factor in the wordplay. The song is describing a slipping relationship with hip hop in it’s current state and reflects the concern of where it’ is going. He shows the willingness to stick it out with the hopes that things will return to a better time.
