Two Calgary men arrested after appearing in a music video

Two Calgary men are charged following a drug and weapons seizure. The Calgary men were arrested after their appearance in a music video “Selloo featuring Lil Haitain” called Streets has helped Calgary police in a drug and weapons bust. Investigators say they found a cache of drugs and weapons inside a southwest home in the 1200 block of 17 Ave. S.W. on Tuesday. Police seized an Airsoft Uzi and an Airsoft Thompson sub-machine gun, over $8,000 in cash, 20 grams of crack cocaine and 15 grams of marijuana.

Martin Schiavetti with the drug and vice unit says one of the accused was spotted in a music video posted on YouTube. The officer says the video shows activity that he says places the public at risk. Selwyn Marcus Caine, who is 30 and Djambou Teddy Wemini, who is 24 face a number of drugs and weapons charges. They are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
