Lets take a break from Toronto for a minute, because as much noise is coming out of the entertainment capital of Canada, there is a lot of slept on talent coming out of other cities, especially out of the nations actual capital. Ottawa up and coming artist DJIBY is one of those artists dripping in talent, but is slept on due to his location. He has been making music for sometime now and browsing through his SoundCloud, you’ll be surprised at the fire that he has been releasing, he is back now with his new track, “My Fault“. The track was released at the beginning of the month and hasn’t quite blown up the way it should have. He didn’t really venture far from his normal sound on this track, he seems to excel when it comes to the soulful indie vibe. He laid down the track at Cave Studios where it was mixed by The LJ, the extremely smooth instrumental was put together by Atlanta based producer Majestic Drama. The whole track just has that extremely easy, cool vibe to it, similar to a Vic Mensa or Childish Gambino track. This guy DJIBY is extremely talented and shouldn’t be slept on at all.
