Gov is an exciting new artist based in Toronto, originally from the U.K. Releasing his debut EP “Nights“ early in 2016, Gov established a captivating sound that infused elements of hip‐hop, R&B, trap and grime. Premiering the project with Complex Music, “Nights” featured rising artists such as: Amir Obe, Ye Aliand Keffaleng.
Working on new music, Gov is gearing up to release a new EP titled “The Roses” very soon. Leading up to the release Gov gives us a new record called “California”.
“California” was produced by RDY, who provides a haunting beat with delightful synth melodies creating a soundscape for Gov’s vocals. The record highlights the R&B influence that will be prevalent on “The Roses” EP. Be on the look out for new music and visuals releasing soon.
