The Grant Brotherz is a hip hop/r&b group based in Toronto that was formed in early 2011 and consists of 3 brothers; Brandon, Duran and Dylan Grant. They’re a unique collective with each artist focusing on their talents. Dylan is the man behind the beats, Brandon is a gifted singer and Duran can drop a heavy verse. Their individual contributions and hard work allows them to present their fans timeless music to enjoy. At the end of 2013 they released their anticipated EP compilation that consists of 4 tracks. Their first and biggest single is called Soul and is produced by the world famous 9th Wonder. The second track is Smoking Clouds and is a relaxed; dope record to light a blunt to. Ain’t Holding Back is third on the playlist and has it’s own unique sound to it. The Room is the fourth and final track on the EP and is a deep track where they are opening up and speaking from their mind. This is definitely a hot mixtape and you can stream it below.
They have been consistently grinding and making progress in their music career. They’ve performed at clubs and venues such as the “Canadian Urban Music Conference” the largest hip hop event in Canada. They have worked with many OVO Sound affiliates such as producers who has worked with The Weeknd, They’ve worked with Chris Athen; who mastered their single Summer Days and also mastered Drakes album Nothing Was The Same and has also met Drakes long-time friend.producer Boi-1da. These are definitely accomplishments that many artists don’t get to see.
