Toronto Artist $heed (DollaSign Sheed) is releasing his debut project titled Ward 11 on October 11, 2016.
The project “Ward11” is very highly anticipated in Toronto. Ever since $heed dropped the hit single “Kawalling” which had a crazy buzz in the beginning of 2016, the streets have been waiting on him to drop new music. $heed has only released one track since Kawalling, and recently dropped a music video for “Ferragamo” which is the first single off the project.
The name of the project “Ward11” comes from the subsection of Toronto that $heed resides in. In the Project, $heed expresses his ups and downs of his career and the rough situations that he’s been through in his area (Ward11) whether through relationships, friendships, or family.
Although $heed is known for his unique rap style where he includes metaphors and double entendres, he has branched off in this project and evolved as an artist. $heed has began to incorporate melodies and harmonies in a couple of songs and opened up more about his feelings to the public.
