HenchmanFrank – The Fade (Featured Ottawa Video)

Ladies and Gentleman, this right here isn’t something to take lightly at all, this is not only a solid track but a cinematic and extremely artistic music video coming straight out of the nations capital. Hailing from Ottawa and a member of the Ottawa collective KINGsCOLLEGEHenchmanFrank recently released this extremely dope visual for his single, “The Fade“. The track itself was released 2 months ago and from one listen you will find yourself subconsciously hitting replay.

The track was produced by a number of another 613 natives and KINGsCOLLEGE members, Mystère, Archie and TBSW. The track comes in two different parts, or better yet, hits you with two completely different sounds combined to make one interesting song; the first part, produced by Mystère, has an extremely mellow vibe to it, almost similar to that of a PartyNextDoor or The Weeknd record. Producers Archie and TBSW hit you with a much harder hitting beat in the second part, complemented by HenchmanFrank attacking the beat with much more aggression and volume.

The new music video was shot, directed and put together by Saru and it is what takes the already heavy hitting track to the next level, with extremely interesting visuals. The video is, once again, broken into two separate parts, first being more mellow, features the rapper chilling and walking around in an almost dazed state, it also features brief clips from the anime cartoon, “Kill Bill Vol. 1 – Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren”. The second part knocks you out of your hypnotic state with the same amount of energy that is brought through the track itself. Check out this dope video below and be on the look out for more from HenchmanFrank and his collective KINGsCOLLEGE.
