Jazz Cartier – Wake Me Up When It’s Over (Music Video)

This right here is, no doubt, one of the most talented and versatile artists coming out of Toronto. Jazz Cartier is back with a long awaited music video for his single, “Wake Me Up When It’s Over”. The track came out a while ago and was featured on his debut mixtape, “Marauding in Paradise” which was featured on CanadianDope.com and can be viewed here. Back to the track, if you have heard it already, you know it is one of his more pop, radio friendly sounding records. The beat was produced by local producer Michael Lantz. On the lyrical front, Cartier’s verses and hook are directed towards a girl, with solid lyrics and a professional sounding hook. The music video is interesting, in a good way. Coming off as a higher budget video, Cartier employed  director John Riera and had the video produced by Rinku DasGupta. It features him starting off in a shack and coming up into the life of luxury in a fire mansion, with his girl. It is definitely something you should check out, also, if you haven’t already, check out his mixtape, “Marauding in Paradise”.
