Hamilton ON – Toronto artist Jigz Crillz is quite the guy. In his Facebook page biography he notes “I made a lot of people from the GTA want to become rappers. I lead by example.” Crillz has been nominated for many awards including for some at the 2009 and 2010 Hamilton music awards. I checked out Jigz’ new song “Put It Down (feat. Drew Carrymore.” It’s one of those urban raps with a nice party like beat. Along with some semi serious rapping. The rap is mainly focused on Jigz and his girl. He takes it smoothly and combined with the smooth beat makes the song enjoyable. As I write this even after the song is finished playing, the beat is still stuck in my head. This piece is truly a dope one for the ladies!
