Kayo x Kardinal Offishall – NAGATO (Music Video)

This is a hot collaboration! After the success of 2013’s “S.L.A.V.E. EP”, Toronto-based hip-hop artist Kayo is back with an infectious 4-track EP, “NOWHERE”. The album’s lead single, “Nagato” (featuring Kardinal Offishall) sees both artists playing off their island heritage for a bouncy summer-tinged jam that’s ripe for the dance floor. Building on the viral success of “Bakara” earlier this year, the young rapper has found a sound that resonates; one that’s unapologetically raw, with potent lyricism and consciousness that brings to mind the early energy of his musical mentors: Wyclef Jean, Bob Marley and Jay-Z.
