King of the Dot Announces BLACKOUT 7

North America’s premier battle rap league KOTD (King of the Dot) is throwing the seventh installment of its biggest event of the year, the two day mega-event Blackout 7 on April 14th and 15th. In past years, Blackout has not only played host to some of the biggest names in the global battle rap scene, but it has also been endorsed and supported by some of the biggest music and pop culture icons as well, with everyone from rapper Drake (who literally skipped out on the 2015 Grammy Awards to host and sponsor KOTD, watch here): https://www.facebook.com/KOTDTV/videos/10153612869866551/ and Raekwon (Wu Tang Clan), all the way to players from the Toronto Raptors attending the special Blackout weekend.

This year KOTD boasts one of its most exciting lineups yet, with King of the Dot champion Rone defending his title against the Harlem battle rap legend and pioneer Head I.C.E. One of Canada’s top rhymers Charron, will also be taking on the iconic Aye Verb, a veteran in the battle rap arena. The rest of the 14 battles feature some of the biggest names in the sport, in addition to showcasing some of the hungriest up-and-comers looking for their next big win.

Blackout 7 takes place on April 14th and 15th at the Capitol Event Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

Advance general admission tickets are only $30 and are available for purchase at https://kotdtv.com/bo7tix/

KOTD will also be holding a boxing-styled press conference at YoutubeSpaces TO on April 13th. This event will also stream live on KOTD’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys4wf7bxvUk
