KOTD presents BLACKOUT6IX – February 19 – 20, 2016 in Toronto

World renowned rap battle comes back to Toronto for the sixth year

World renowned premier rap battle league King Of The Dot (KOTD) is back for their highly anticipated sixth annual two day BLACKOUT6IX event. In past years, Blackout has attracted some of the biggest names in the game such asDeadMau5, Toronto City Councelor; Norm Kelly, Method Man, Classified and the “6 God” himself, Drake. Outdoing themselves year after year, KOTD plans to once again live up to their internationally recognized fame with BLACKOUT6IX, taking place on February 19 – 20 and talent press conference on February 18.

Not only does Blackout average 10 million views per event, it attracts some of the best and brightest in rap, their ability to ignite international hype amongst fans is what truly sets them apart from all other rap leagues. Blackout is best known for their mystery match-ups, only announcing individual battlers leaving both fans and participants in the dark. Match-ups are unveiled on the day of the event during the live pay-per-view through a Rolodex graphic that reveals who is battling who — and that’s when the real fun begins. The intrigue of the mystery match-ups gives Blackout a certain mystique and edge unlike any other battle event.

To top it off, only the best battlers in the world are invited, a KOTD Title Match headlines the event and some of your favourite celebrities just might show up, who knows. Anything can happen.

Last February, KOTD partnered up with October’s Very Own (OVO) to put together their high-praised Blackout 5. Drake and KOTD President Organikconstructed some of the most highly coveted rap battle match-ups ever to take place, making it their most memorable Blackout event to date — until now.
