Maestro Fresh Wes x JD Era x JRDN – Underestimated (Music Video)

This is a huge track for a number of reasons, not only is it a dope track, but it features Canadian rap heavyweights, from the OG to two equally talented artists. The OG being Maestro Fresh Wes links up with JD Era and JRDN to create an upbeat, inspirational track, “Underestimated”. The track came out a while ago and was a single off of Maestro’s EP, “Composition Vol. 1” which was featured here on CanadianDope.com. This time however, they are back with the visual. The track has an upbeat instrumental courtesy of Andrew Triple A, all three artists do their thing with JRDN hitting the hook with on point vocals and JD Era and the Maestro eating up their verses. To be honest, the track does not necessarily represent the artists due to the buzz, recognition and respect the artists get off of their musical prowess. The video was directed and edited by Nick Pulver and it is dope, features all the artists doing their thing in the studio, letting the people see how the work gets created. Interestingly enough, this track was played during the opening of the Pan Am Games, but more importantly right before Canadian Sprinter Andre DeGrasse ran his 100 men’s final and took the top spot on the podium. This is a dope track and an equally cold music video. Check it out below, and be sure to go get Maestro’s EP, which is available on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
