This track goes out to all those dude’s that got caught up with a girl, maybe met her at a club, in the mall, wherever, but now you can’t get shawty off your mind. Mississauga artist Major Blaze links up with another west side native, Jacobi Flash to create a music video for their song, “Off My Mind“. Addressing the track first, it originally came out 5 months ago and it is a perfect example of the Caribbean influence in Toronto/GTA. Hitting you with an extremely lively and riddimish vibe, producer Colin Taylor definitely did not slack on this production at all. Both artists did it big on this track, both serving up big time sounds on this joint. Being as it’s Major Blaze’s track he sets the tone off the jump, starting off with the dancehall inspired hook, followed by a dope verse. Not allowing himself to be overshadowed, Jacobi Flash hopped on the track delivering an extremely dope verse, mixed with a little patois as well. The music video is on point, being released a few days ago, it is something that should be checked out. The video’s production was brought to you by Sunset 6 Productions, more specifically, the video was directed by Danny Snow and produced by Juan Creates. It’s a high end music video shot on the beach, showing both artists rapping but also living it up with the women they can’t get off their minds in the video. The track is set to be on Major Blaze’s upcoming début album “Champion Sound” which is set to drop November 11. The track is available for download on SoundCloud. Be sure to keep an eye out for the album and any more music coming from both artists, however in the meantime check out this dope music video below.
