Toronto artist Peter Jackson has been earning notoriety as we come upon the release of his third studio album “Since I was 16”. His latest track off the album, “Hold Up” features prominent artists YG and Mazze. All three of them bring talent to the song, centered around their experiences with women while performing/clubbing. Similar samples to Chris Brown provide the track with great sound, and this is an example of a song with huge potential as a hit in clubs. A bumping chorus combined with great lyricism from all rappers makes this a perfect single to drop before the album hits. A day after the album’s release, Peter Jackson will start a tour in his hometown of Toronto, so look out for tickets if you live in Ontario and want to support Canadian Hip Hop!
