There is absolutely nothing doper than an artist putting their city on, or more specifically showing love to something or someone in their city that holds weight amongst the people and the cities history. Coming out of Halifax, Quake Matthews does just that with his brand new music video for his song, “Down With The King”. The track came out on SoundCloud about a month ago, and has already caught on in his city. The song is a 3 minute shout out to a renowned restaurant in Halifax, “King of Donair”. The music video is pretty lit, it features Quake Matthews at the original restaurant turning up with local customers and employees. Check out the dope music video below and be sure to check out more from Quake Matthews. Also, if you’re in the Halifax area or ever visit, make sure you pay King of Donair a visit.
