SAFE – Downtown Freestyle (Audio)

Thanks to Drake, The Weeknd and PND, Toronto is known for it’s slow drug induced sound, a lot of artists have tried to hop on the wave but haven’t been able to measure up, this up and coming artist has surpassed the competition. Coming out of downtown Toronto, rapper SAFE, hits the streets with another slow burn track, “Downtown Freestyle”. This track was released a week ago and it’s been gaining some serious steam, reaching 25k+ streams already. If you’ve listened to SAFE before you would know that he is known for his hypnotic styled tracks, where he hits you with an extremely relaxed vibe. This track is absolutely no exception to what people are used to hearing from SAFE. The beat sets the tone for the whole dazed vibe, it was created by CVRE X Vinnyx, the song was mixed and mastered by Dominic Dot Okune. He has been blowing up across the board, releasing fire track after fire track, even having his single with Smoke Dawg, “HANG” featured on OVO Sound Radio.
