There were a lot of huge releases over the past few days; Lil Wayne’s new tape, Fabolous’ new tape, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, Waka Flocka, you get it, but there is only one tape that will stand out in Toronto and will probably be on blast downtown. After a number of tracks being released as teasers, SAFE has finally released his EP, “Stay Down”. It was released a day ago on SoundCloud and was debuted on The Fader. The tape is pretty much what you would expect from SAFE, featuring a number of slow tracks, that typical drug-induced, late night drive music but he also demonstrates his ability to switch it up with a few more upbeat joints. He enlisted the help with a number of different producers, who all brought a number of different sounds to the table, interestingly enough Smoke Dawg was the only feature on the entire project. The project was mixed and mastered Dominic Dot Okune. It is an extremely dope debut EP, leaving all of SAFE’s fans and the rest of Toronto excited about what will come from this new fire artist. Check out the dope project below and be sure stay plugged to see what SAFE has planned next.
