Tamina Pollack-Paris is a Toronto native whose love of dance began at the age of two. With 16 years of professional work under her belt, she has developed a name for herself in Canadian Entertainment before going on to work with the best in the business in Los Angeles. Her career credits include: Season One, of So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Degrassi, American Idol, X-Factor, Glee, My Daughter’s Nightmare, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures starring Ashley Tisdale, Disney’s Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2-The Final Jam starring the Jonas Brothers, Frenemies featuring Shake it Up stars Bella Thorne and Zendaya, Turn the Beat Around, Sorority Wars, Hellcats and plays the principal role of “Tiffany” in the new tween Family Channel series, “The Next Step”. Tamina has also worked with Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Rye Rye, Aloe Blacc, Years and Years, Aleesia ft Big Sean, Keshia Chanté, Victoria Duffield, Anjulie, Danny Fernandes, Massari and Outasight. With Toronto never far from her heart and fresh off a year long world-tour with Lady Gaga, Tamina wanted to find an avenue of giving back to the community that meant so much to her. That vision grew into THE GIRLS CLUB, which is now a distinguished Academy geared towards the development and empowerment of young female performers. The Academy’s mission is to mold tomorrow’s top performers through a specialized curriculum focused on performance and business training. Founded just over a year and a half ago, the Academy has already produced a diverse demographic of talented, intelligent women who are ready to take the industry by storm. In addition, THE GIRLS CLUB doubles as a full service venue entertainment company that creates innovative, high caliber, interactive performances in various establishments. Their unique and elegant nature has managed to catch the eyes and hearts of many, not only locally but also on a National scale.
