Songwriters Association of Canada Supports TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games through Songwriting Camp

Songwriters Association of Canada (S.A.C.) is honored to announce that the Official Song for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am / Parapan Am Games was written at SAC Songworks Pro, a professional songwriting camp hosted by S.A.C.

“Together We Are One” has been chosen from among 70 submissions as the Official Song for the TORONTO 2015 Games. The song was written by Murray Daigle (also the producer), Jasmine Denham and Bobby John, with a French adaptation by Diane Cadieux and a Spanish adaptation by Celia Palli.

As one of the 28 works commissioned by TORONTO 2015 to seed new and innovative arts projects, the Songwriters Association of Canada created the PANAMANIA Songworks Camp. From across Canada, this intensive multi-day workshop brought together established writers and mentors and emerging songwriters from various musical and cultural backgrounds to foster the creation of new works through collaboration. The ultimate goal of the PANAMANIA Songworks Camp was to help promote the songs created and the artists/songwriters who participated in the workshop.
